Military Investigation Proves Prisoner Abuse At Guantanamo

NEW YORK, NY (AHN) - An U.S. military investigation team looking into the allegations of prisoner abuse at Guantanamo Bay came to conclusion that a number of prisoners were physically abused or mistreated, according to a Reuters report that references a New York Times story.

The New York Times report said that senior military and Pentagon officials had found that prisoners were abused as, interrogators applied innovative methods to gain vital lead.

The report that is still few weeks away from being finished and published.

The investigation was conducted on the basis of complains by FBI agents who said to have witnessed detainees going through several types of cruelties, Reuters quoted.
