Church Burns Antique Porn Found at Drive-In
A Jacksonville church held a special service Sunday afternoon to burn antique pronography found at a drive-in movie theatre. The church recently purchased the drive-in after it closed earlier this year. The church paid $1.4 million US.
Church officials and parishoners conducted the ceremonial burning and "holy hose down" after finding porn produced in the 70's and 80's at the theater. Jacksonville Fire officials were on hand to supervise the burning.
A priest blessed the fire truck to make holy water, and it was the holy water that was used to keep the fire under control. The church plans to renovate the theater and show family movies when renovations are done.
