Got the 30 day notice finally on steve and my studio in the old Xtreme Wheels skatepark building thats now, of course, being turned into mixed use condos.
I'm glad to see Buffalo exploding, but I also like cheap (aka affordable) st
udio space. The same thing happened 5 years ago to our space in the Pierce Arrow building, but that was tougher because that was like a second home, right down the train tracks between Amy's and Mike's house, and a lot of magic was made there. This was really more Steve's painting studio where I would swing by to walk Rivir on the tracks. Plus there was a wierd culture at the pierce arrow due to it's tenants / history and this is just a ghost indoor skate park that had no heat, and like 1 other tenant in a four story warehouse.
But still, it was nice to have one of the last cheap art spaces in Buffalo.
