I am not speaking for everyone of the Artists on Passiveconsumer.com, but as the owner, I thought it was important to let you know that I fully support the impeachment of our president and his cronie puppet regime and have worked dilligently the last four years to make that happen. It will not, because the youth of today is numb and complacent. WAKE UP! Go to New Orleans, its a WARZONE. These people need our help, and the help from us that they should get through our tax dollars DID not, and WILL not be coming anytime soon, as long as Bush, Cheney, and NewsCorp control your minds. We were there last week, and as the guitarist for rejouissance, who spent a week there instead of continueing our tour said, " As soon as the Camera's left, So did the help."
This is unnacceptable, we write songs to motivate a concious revolution that will overthrow this power structure and shift the balance of our country back to where it belongs, in the hands of the people. But if change will not come, we must put down our instruments and pick up new ones.
Hurricanes will happen again, its only a matter of time before some disaster will personally effect you, don't wait until then, don't let the overflowing levee become the purposely exploded levee before we make a change.
I will be heading to New Orleans in January to try and help stop the racism, corrunption and embarassing gentrification that it has become. I urge everyone one of you to take two weeks and do the same thing, or at least fly down for a weekend,and see what the situation really is. Because it is the future of our country if we do not act and respond to the needs of our people when the government doesn't.
