A taxpayer wonders

According to estimiates, the cost of "our" (taxpayer/loan finded) war against terror in all of it's forms over the past ten years stands at 3.5 trillion dollars (3,500,000,000,000$), and that is a slightly conservative estimate. According to the
IRS, roughly 144,103,375 individuals (not including corporate tax) filed income tax returns(2009).So roughly, the out of pocket cost to the taxpayer for this grand adventure come to a whopping $ 24,288. So your welcome uncle sam, as a taxpaying citizen I must say i certainly did not need that $24,000 over the past ten years to pay for gas to get to work to make the money that can be taxed to pay for these wars. Whats a few sawbucks anyways, when you can rest assured your hard earned money is going to make the world the safe place we see now.
